Michelangelo’s David Makes #1 Spot!

First time EVER Michelangelo’s David made the #1 spot on the top 100 Squidoo Lensrank!

Mynameiskate has DOMINATED the top spot almost since the day Squidoo began, and only lately has that spot even seen anyone else.  Cinetech’s How to Make YouTube Videos Look Great has dominated it the few days that Mynameiskate hasn’t.

Congratulations to Michelangelo and his David Statue.  When was there EVER a time that you weren’t #1, honestly!?!  I’m very proud!  (weeping)

Hi, Margaret! Well, it seems my reign of terror is over (for NOW 🙂 and if I had to lose the #1 spot, I’m glad it’s in the hands of a naked guy 😉

Congrats! And just curious – did you see a big run up to traffic before moving up to #1?

Thanks, Kate! You’re so gracious! David is DAY TWO at #1, but with you around I’m sure that won’t last long!

The traffic has been growing steadily and I think has finally reached a great level regularly, and still growing. Usually it falls just under wikipedia on any and all of the search engines, which makes me #3, and I think teachers and students really like the page. Plus my clickouts are unbelievable- people spend HOURS on that page looking at EVERYTHING I’ve linked to, and they come back, send friends, etc.

Congrats, such a huge accomplishment! I think David is a beautiful lens, and very deserving of the top spot.

That’s an amazing accomplishment that you’ve ranked right behind Wikipdia, congratulations! This lens deserves the credit, it really is incredible. Personally, I take small chunks out of the lens at one time, then come back later to read a little more…there’s just so much good stuff to read!
